About
Holly is a comedian, writer, actor and producer living between London, the US, and other yet unexplored pockets of the world. Conceived in Pakistan and born in Ohio, a “third culture kid”, she grew up between the cornfields of the Midwest and countries such as Senegal, Tunisia, Spain, Oman, the Philippines and Mexico.
She found her calling as an actor early in life because what better way to be a chameleon and fit in anywhere? In her 20’s she spent 10 years in New York performing off-off-Broadway, in regional and summer stock theatre. From there, Holly moved to London where her son was born. She single-handedly raised and spent two years traveling the world with him, which gave rise to her successful book series, The Badass Single Moms’ Survival Guide.
She has written, directed and produced two short films, a comedy, Pipe Dreams, featuring the late great Elaine Stritch, which screened at festivals internationally, and a drama, Drive.
Holly came to stand-up comedy in mid-life after returning to the stage as an improviser and performing with the Black Box Theatre in Dayton, Ohio and Hoopla Impro in London, UK.
Holly also has a romantic comedy feature project in development, Chemical Attraction, is developing two comedy pilots, Shipfaced and Man Factory, as well as multiple other scripts in the pipeline. When she is not performing live on stages, she is trying to make people laugh online with a series of ridiculous sketches on Instagram and TikTok.
